My January started with a box of skincare and haircare products from Glossybox. The theme of January was ‘Mindful Mornings’ where they send me 5 beautiful products and a surprise gift. All the products came in a beautiful and sturdy pink box. All the products were wrapped with brown paper and bundled together with a ribbon. However this time, there was no information note about each product so I had to google them.
All the products were skincare products which definitely helped me to take care of my skin and hair on the winter mornings.
Philip Kingsley Bond Builder
The first product is hair serum which helps to seal split ends for every type of hair. It is a 20ml split end remedy. I used it after washing my hair. I have medium-length hair so took a pea amount of the serum and applied it smoothly towards the ends of my hair.
I just had my hair cut so there were no split ends. After applying it my hair got smoother and soft. I carry this serum in my bag for a quick touch-up for my hair for sudden dinner. This serum also shields against pollution and protects from UV and heat damage.
Blume Daydreamer Super Gentle Face Wash
The facewash from Blume is suitable for every skin type. This cleanser is very light and hydrating to me. The texture of the cleanser is very gentle but it did not deep clean my face. I would not use this to wash my face after coming from work or a party.
I use this in the morning before getting ready for my office. It removes the oil from my face as well as moisturizes. It comes 20ml tube which is very travel friendly.
Codex Antü Brightening Serum
I have never used a brightening serum before and this product was very new to me. The serum contains M3 Antioxidants, Hyaluronic Acid and Hibiscus and reduces inflammation and aging. I took a small amount of the serum to apply.
It was kind of heavy to my skin but did not make my skin greasy. I did not see any effects as I only used it for 2 or 3 days. I did not hate or like this product.
Invisibobble® BUNSTAR
This next product is one of my favorite products among all the products. I have very silky hair which does not help to hold my bun in place.
It has a very innovative shape and has no sharp edges. It is transparent which makes it invisible in my head. I tried doing high bun and it kept my bun stable for long hours. This is something I really needed for my hair.
Le Mini Macaroon Moisturizing Foot Mask
This is a lavender-scented pair of foot masks. I scrub my feet but never used a mask on them. The masks were like a pair of socks.
After taking a shower, I wore the masks for 15 minutes. Later lightly patted the serum on my foot. It hydrated my feet which they needed.
Afterspa Black Marble Roller
Lastly, a face roller came as a gift with the box. The roller is made of marbles and aids to alleviate puffiness from the face. Rolling it on the face also boost circulation and balance skin tone.
The roller has marbles on both sides which is great to cover the t-zone and cheek area easily. I am a lazy person so I don't use it regularly. But it gives great results if the roller is used frequently.

Glossybox is based in the United States and ships to both Canada and the United States. The delivery is free and takes between three and six days to arrive at your home. Canadian have to pay $5 per month as a delivery charge.

You can enjoy five products every month at a price of $13.25 per month. You can save $18 a year if you opt for a yearly subscription plan. You can choose upfront pay to stop the hassle of paying every month.
